The whole service structure of OA is designed to help the still suffering compulsive overeater find their way to the solution we have found, and lasting abstinence. 

An Intergroup is part of this service structure, and is a collection of OA groups, originally in a geographical area, that come together to carry the OA message to the still suffering compulsive overeater more effectively. This supports our primary purpose as described in Tradition 5. 

Overeaters Anonymous United Kingdom and Beyond (OAUKEB) is a virtual Intergroup. We have virtual meetings from all round the world affiliated with us. All our Intergroup meetings are held virtually over Zoom.

We serve our member groups by furthering the OA programme, carrying the message in accordance with the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of OA, and promoting unity among OA groups.

We encourage your meeting to send a Group Service Representative (GSR) to participate in group conscience decisions affecting our Intergroup, and to assist in efforts to carry the message of recovery.
